According to recent research from Norway, "Decidual acute atherosis is associated with preeclampsia, but the underlying mechanism is still unclear."
"We have previously demonstrated elevated level of the oxidative stress marker 8-isoprostaglandin F-2alpha (8-isoprostane) and lipids in preeclamptic decidual tissue," noted A.C.
